Barefoot College Madagascar is a non-governmental organization created on October 9, 2017 and governed by Law 96.030 as of August 14, 1997.
To train women from vulnerable and marginalized rural communities to become agents of lasting change within their community through reliable access to renewable solar electricity.
Barefoot College Madagascar is part of the Barefoot College International community and shares its values: equity, collective decisions, decentralization, self-sufficiency, austerity, transparency, responsibility, and self-evaluation.
These values guide the thinking, actions, decisions, reactions and priorities of any member and staff of the organization “Barefoot College Madagascar”.
